Overview Line-type Contact Sensing Safety Switch — ≤ 20 N · Full-length
BUMPER SWITCH — installed on machine
A switch that detects contact at the machine perimeter and outputs a safety control signal. Unlike point sensors, the line-switch design responds to contact anywhere along the front of the bumper bar — no blind spots — and actuates at approximately 20 N or less, suited to human-protection scenarios in low-speed and stationary operation. The digital ON/OFF output connects directly into an existing safety control loop. In series production for Xpanner — field-proven on real machines.
- Full-length sensing — detects contact along the entire bumper bar, no blind spots
- High sensitivity — actuates at approximately 20 N or less
- Simple interface — digital ON/OFF output wired straight into the safety loop
- Customizable to specification — bar length, brackets and wiring built to the machine (see customization below)
